Optional Entertainment: Guided Tours on Monday and Tuesday evening
Two city tours: The "MedienHafen" and Düsseldorf's Old Town, are planned for both Monday and Tuesday evening. Transportation is arranged from the hotel and back, but you can plan to have dinner downtown, after the tour, or return to the hotel where you can discover first-class gastronomy in the three hotel restaurants.
Please use the form below to sign up for the tour you would like to attend, and the preferred date.
We'll organise all the necessary logistics based on the number of requests received, so if other arrangements have been done for you, especially on Tuesday night, please do not sign up, or if you already did, please send us a cancellation note at Andrea.Guettler@Emerson.com
| The "MedienHafen"
Where a few years ago disused storage halls emanated an atmosphere of bleakness, there is now the "MedienHafen", arguably Düsseldorf’s most interesting urban development project.
Renowned architects such as Frank O. Gehry, Vasconi, Chipperfield and others have marked it with their spectacular masterpieces. The tour carries on past the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament, the Rhine tower, Düsseldorf’s highest building, and the Gehry buildings.
Duration: approx. 2 hours, including transportation by bus from the hotel and back.
