The Life Sciences Industry Forum is for attendees to learn and exchange information related to industry issues and trends, and the impact of these on the manufacturing environment . The Life Sciences industry forum will discuss the future of automation within the Life Sciences industry with an emphasis on Skills and people development, Integration of IT and Automation/MES, Simplification of project implementation, and security. This is an opportunity to raise the concerns and challenges you have in your company.
These challenges will reflect in the profile of your automation suppliers and your expectations of them.
The format of the forum will consist of an opening statement from Peter Zornio, CSO Emerson Process Management followed by 10 minute presentation by Peter Iles-Smith to set the panel topic. A round table panel discussion will giving you the chance to raise any specific challenges you see in your working environment.

The Life Sciences Solution Booth provides a number of real-time demonstrations of the leading technology solutions available from Emerson for the Life Sciences industry including a demonstration of a Syncade Electronic Batch Record (EBR) fully sequenced with DeltaV on a formulation tank. The demonstration also includes a real time application of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) using integrated into a Syncade Workflow for real time process control of critical quality attributes (CQA) as part of a formulation tank.
