The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center will be the host hotel for the 2008 Emerson Global Users Exchange.  This is a brand new Gaylord property that opened in April 2008.  A map of the area is below. 

Please note:  As of Monday, August 4th, the Gaylord National is sold-out on Thursday,
October 2nd.  We suggest making your reservations through Wednesday, October 1st
and be wait listed for October 2nd.  You must contact Nishi Patel (npatel@gaylordhotels.com)
with the Gaylord National at 301-965-4003 to be put on the wait list for Thursday, October 2nd.

Hotel Reservations:

The Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center will serve as the host hotel for the 2008 Emerson Exchange conference and exhibition.  We’ll hold a block of rooms for conference attendees until Friday, September 5, 2008.  For room reservations please contact the hotel directly at 301-965-2000 and mention "C-EMER8".  For online reservations, see below.

Hotel rates for our conference start at $225.00 single/double per night plus taxes.  There is also an additional
resort fee per room ($15.00) that includes the following:

• First 20 minutes of local calls

• First 20 minutes of 800 or Credit Card calls

• Unlimited high speed internet

• Wireless access throughout the facility

• Access to the fitness center

• Two (2) bottles of water daily

• Daily newspaper delivery

Check-In: 3:00 p.m. EST

Check-out: 11:00 a.m. EST

Deposit: A deposit equal to one night's stay (plus 15% tax) will be charged to your card.  Deposit is refundable with a 72 hour cancellation prior to arrival date.

While we are optimistic that our conference attendees who are on the wait list for Thursday, October 2nd at the Gaylord National will obtain rooms, below is contact information on two alternative hotels in the National Harbor development that are within a short walk of the Gaylord National.  We currently do not have any rooms blocked at these hotels so no special conference rate is available.
